Cancel a Printed Cheque
Once a cheque is printed in ChequeSystem, it cannot be deleted in order to maintain complete audit trail data integrity. However, if a cheque becomes invalid—due to a paper jam, printing error, or mistake—you can easily void it.
Steps to Void a Cheque
- Locate and open the printed cheque you need to cancel.
- Check the VOID box.

- Click [Save] button.
What Happens When a Cheque Is Voided?
- Amount reset: The cheque amount automatically changes to $0.00, ensuring your financial reports and calculations remain accurate.
- Data retention: All other details (such as cheque number, date, and payee) are preserved for tracking and auditing purposes.
