Load Cheque Information into a Payment Voucher

In ChequeSystem, you can easily load a cheque’s details directly into a Payment Voucher. To do this, simply open the cheque window and click the Payment Voucher button.

This will automatically populate the voucher with the following information from the cheque:

• Cheque Number
• Cheque Date
• Cheque Amount
• Pay To

Adding Line Items

Once the basic information is loaded, you have three options for adding line items to your Payment Voucher:

Enter Manually: You can type the line item information directly into the fields.

Use Pre-defined Items: Click the [Load Item] button to select an item from your pre-defined list, then specify the amount for each line item.

Use Cheque Particulars: Click the [Load from Particulars] button. This time-saving feature automatically uses the cheque’s “Particulars” field as the line item description and the cheque amount as its value, saving you from having to retype the information.
