<p><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" src="https://evinco-software.com/quick-receipt/support/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/quick-receipt-customer-import.png" alt="Customer Import Dialog" width="470" height="188" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-122" srcset="https://www.evinco-software.com/quick-receipt/support/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/quick-receipt-customer-import.png 470w, https://www.evinco-software.com/quick-receipt/support/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/quick-receipt-customer-import-300x120.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 470px) 100vw, 470px" /></p>
<p>To successfully import customer information, the Excel file must adhere to a specific format. A sample import file can be easily downloaded by clicking on the provided link within the import dialog box.</p>
<p> <img decoding="async" src="https://evinco-software.com/quick-receipt/support/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/quick-receipt-customer-import-sample.png" alt="Customer Import Sample File" width="629" height="136" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-123" srcset="https://www.evinco-software.com/quick-receipt/support/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/quick-receipt-customer-import-sample.png 629w, https://www.evinco-software.com/quick-receipt/support/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/quick-receipt-customer-import-sample-300x65.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 629px) 100vw, 629px" /></p>
<p>To ensure a successful import, please follow the required format for your data file.</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Header Row</strong><br />
The very first row of the import file must serve as the header. This row contains the fixed column names that the software uses to identify each piece of customer information. The order of these columns is fixed and must not be changed.</li>
<li><strong>Customer Data</strong><br />
All customer information should be entered row by row, beginning from the second row of the file.</li>
<li><strong>Empty Cells</strong><br />
If a specific piece of information is not applicable for a customer (e.g., a phone number is missing), you may simply leave the corresponding cell blank. The import process will handle these empty cells accordingly.</li>
</ul>
