<p><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" src="https://evinco-software.com/quick-receipt/support/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/quick-receipt-import-item-dialog.png" alt="Import Item Dialog" width="457" height="183" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-130" srcset="https://www.evinco-software.com/quick-receipt/support/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/quick-receipt-import-item-dialog.png 457w, https://www.evinco-software.com/quick-receipt/support/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/quick-receipt-import-item-dialog-300x120.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 457px) 100vw, 457px" /></p>
<p>To successfully import items, the Excel file must adhere to a specific format. A sample import file can be easily downloaded by clicking on the provided link within the import dialog box.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" src="https://evinco-software.com/quick-receipt/support/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/quick-receipt-import-item-sample.png" alt="Import Item Sample" width="549" height="116" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-131" srcset="https://www.evinco-software.com/quick-receipt/support/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/quick-receipt-import-item-sample.png 549w, https://www.evinco-software.com/quick-receipt/support/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/quick-receipt-import-item-sample-300x63.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 549px) 100vw, 549px" /></p>
<p>To ensure a successful import, please follow the required format for your data file.</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Header Row</strong><br />
The very first row of the import file must serve as the header. This row contains the fixed column names that the software uses to identify each piece of item information. The order of these columns is fixed and must not be changed.</li>
<li><strong>Item Data</strong><br />
All item information should be entered row by row, beginning from the second row of the file.</li>
<li><strong>Empty Cells</strong><br />
If a specific piece of information is not applicable for a item (e.g., spec is missing), you may simply leave the corresponding cell blank. The import process will handle these empty cells accordingly.</li>
</ul>
