<p>To get started, you&#8217;ll need to use our specific Excel template to ensure your data is formatted correctly. You can easily download a sample import file by clicking the link provided in the import dialog box.</p>
<p>Once you have the file, simply follow these rules:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Column Headers</strong>: The first row must contain the exact column headers as shown in the sample file.</li>
<li><strong>Fixed Order</strong>: The columns must remain in the same order as they appear in the template.</li>
<li><strong>Input Data</strong>: Begin entering your customer information from the second row downwards.</li>
<li><strong>Leave Blanks</strong>: If a field doesn&#8217;t apply to a customer, you can simply leave the corresponding cell blank.</li>

<p>When you create a new customer, you can easily manage all their key information.</p>
<h2>General Information</h2>
<p>In the &#8220;<strong>General tab</strong>&#8220;, you can input the customer&#8217;s name and contact information. For easier organization, you can also assign customers to a specific group, which is great for efficient searching or for creating documents in batches.</p>
<p>You can also set preferences that will be automatically applied whenever you create a document for this customer, including:</p>
<ul>
<li>Shipping and Payment Terms</li>
<li>Item Categories</li>
<li>Sales Discounts</li>
</ul>
<h2>Addresses and Shipping</h2>
<p>Under the &#8220;<strong>Address tab</strong>&#8220;, you can enter the &#8220;<strong>Bill To</strong>&#8221; and &#8220;<strong>Ship To</strong>&#8221; addresses. You can also add up to three different shipping addresses for a single customer.</p>

<p>The Tool Bar in the Customer List provides several useful functions, including:</p>

<li><strong>Edit</strong> &#8211; Modify the details of the selected customer.</li>

<li><strong>Export</strong> &#8211; Export the entire customer list into PDF, XLS, or HTML format.</li>
<li><strong>Print Address</strong> &#8211; Print the address of the selected customer on a label.</li>
<li><strong>Print All Address</strong> &#8211; Print the addresses of all customers on labels.</li>
<li><strong>Category List</strong> &#8211; Manage customer categories for better organization and classification.</li>
</ul>
<p>Within the Customer List, customers are displayed in a table format, providing a clear overview of their information. You may sort the table by clicking on the header of each column, allowing for easy organization of customer data. Additionally, a search box is available in the upper right corner, which allow you to quickly locate specific customers by entering relevant search terms.</p>
