Why are my receipts getting cut off at the bottom?
If your receipts are being cut off at the bottom, it’s typically due to your Windows printer settings. The software is sending the full document, but the printer is stopping prematurely because of a paper size setting.
To resolve this, please follow these steps:
- Go to Windows Settings > Printers.
- Select your thermal printer and open its Printing Preferences.
- Navigate to the Advanced Options.
- In the “Paper Size” dropdown menu, select a different paper size. In many cases, the printer defaults to a size that is too short. You should select the longest available paper size option.
The sample image below shows an example where multiple paper sizes have the same width. Be sure to select the one with the longest dimension to ensure your printouts are not cut off.
